
GREG ALLEN, D.D.S.

Dr. Allen was born and raised in Michigan where he met his wife Dr. Nadia Bala during the first day of dental school. He is a Board Certified pediatric dentist and is proud to be an advocate for children of all ages.
Dr. Allen received his Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences with Honors from Central Michigan University. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The University of Michigan School of Dentistry is consistently ranked among the top 5 dental schools in the country. After dental school, Dr. Allen practiced in San Diego for several years as a general dentist where he discovered his love for pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Allen then completed a General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City. During this residency he received training in all phases of dentistry including hospital cases under general anesthesia, oral surgery, and rehabilitation of severe trauma cases.
He then went on to complete his Pediatric Dental Residency training at St. Barnabas Hospital where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Allen received extensive and rigorous training at St. Barnabas Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma center. He has also received the hospital’s top research award while in residency for his clinical research in public health. He received training in treating special needs and medically compromised children at the Rose F. Kennedy Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Center.
Dr. Allen enjoys volunteering to help the underserved and has been on multiple international mission trips. He has also been invited to speak on topics in pediatric dentistry to international dentists at a NATO dental clinic.
